Beauty With Purpose Takes Centre Stage at Dublin Multicultural Event

Contestants from several countries gathered in Dublin for a multicultural pageant that combined cultural celebration with an educational message about drug prevention. Approximately 450 people attended the Dublin programme, where 24 contestants representing seven nations presented their cultures, talents and personal messages. The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland. Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Contestants were encouraged to prepare by studying drug-prevention materials, and a number of them completed every available online course. The Mayor of South Dublin praised the contestants for using their public platform to promote informed choices Truth About Drugs and stronger communities. Guests enjoyed performances representing Irish, Indian and Indonesian traditions throughout the afternoon. Software engineer Niveditha Vudayagiri received the Miss Cross Continent 2026 title at the conclusion of the programme. The first runner-up title went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina, followed by Yuki Yuliatin as second runner-up. The pageant showed that public events can celebrate talent and diversity while also addressing important social concerns.
